~ What You Will Need ~

Jasc Paint Shop Pro
You can download a fully functional 30 day trial version ... Here

Image, Gold Fill Pattern & Floral Decoration...
You can download all the supplies ... Here
Unzip and then open in PSP

~ Instructions ~

1. Set Foreground color to White #FFFFFF
Set Background color to a dark color from your image ... I used #77414A

2. Click on your Selection Tool .. .. and then open up your
Tool Options Window .. .. Selection Type: Ellipse / Feather: 0 / Antialias: Checked

3. Find the exact center of your image ... refer to the numbers in the lower left hand corner
of your status bar ... On this image center is .... Left click & hold down while
dragging your cursor till you reach .... then let go

4. Layers / New Raster Layer
Selections / Invert
Set Foreground Styles box to Gradient / Sunburst Gradient with the following settings:

5. Flood Fill .. ..the selection with the Gradient

6. Layers / New Raster Layer
Selections / Invert

7. Effects / 3D Effects / Cutout with the following settings:

8. Selections / Modify / Expand / 4
Layers / New Raster Layer
Set your Foreground Styles box to Pattern
Now browse for your Gold Fill Pattern
Flood Fill inside the selection with the gold pattern
Effects / Sharpen / Sharpen More
Selections / Modify / Contract / 4
Now hit the Delete key on your keyboard
Selections / Select None

9. Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow with the following settings:

10. Layers / Merge / Merge All (Flatten)
Switch Foreground & Background colors at the top
Image / Add Borders / Symmetric Checked / 5
(This border should be white)
With the Magic Wand .. ..click on the new border
Flood Fill with the Gold Fill Pattern

11. Effects / 3D Effects / Inner Bevel with the following settings:

12. Selections / Invert
Effects / 3D Effects / Cutout using the same settings as in Step# 7
Vert: 0 Horiz: 0 Opac: 100 Blur: 20 Shadow Color: Black

13. Reverse Foreground & Background colors at the top
Image / Add Borders / Symmetric Checked / 18
(This border should be your dark color)
With the Magic Wand .. ..click on the new border

14. Effects / 3D Effects / Cutout using the same settings as in Step# 7
Vert: 0 Horiz: 0 Opac: 100 Blur: 20 Shadow Color: Black

15. Reverse Foreground & Background colors at the top
Image / Add Borders / Symmetric Checked / 5
(This border should be white)
With the Magic Wand .. ..click on the new border
Flood Fill with the Gold Fill Pattern

16. Effects / 3D Effects / Inner Bevel with the same settings as in Step# 11
Selections / Select None

17. Make your Floral Decoration your active image ... Edit / Copy
Now make your main image active ... go to Edit / Paste / As A New Layer
Position the Floral Decoration in the upper left hand corner
Layers / Merge / Merge All (Flatten)

18. Resize image and sharpen if necessary ...
